  • All supplements within the dispensary pass strict regulations for quality and potency. Not all supplements are created equal. A large majority of what you find online or in stores have hidden preservatives and do not deliver on what is claimed to be on the bottle. Some of the brands you will find in the dispensary require a practitioner to access and cannot be bought through other platforms. I set high standards for what I put in my body and I want the same access to quality for my community.

Supplement Safety

Supplements are meant to support the changes you're making to your nutrition and daily routines, not replace them. They work best when they're matched to what your body needs right now. I recommend reassessing what you take every 120 days based on your chart and labs, with the exception of a multivitamin, prenatal, or anything prescribed by your provider.

  • Use care with medical conditions and medications. Herbs and targeted nutrients are powerful and affect your body's chemistry. Keep your primary care provider informed of any dietary or supplement changes you make.

  • More is not always better. Follow the dosage on your supplement bottles unless your provider advises otherwise.

  • If you're trying to conceive, pregnant, or breastfeeding, review everything you take with your medical team. Some herbs and natural therapies should be avoided during these times, and some should be stopped before pregnancy is confirmed.

  • Stop taking a supplement if you develop a reaction such as a rash, headaches, or other symptoms that can't be explained by anything else. If you have swelling of your face, lips, or throat, or trouble breathing, seek emergency care right away.
