Wishbone Wellness is a functional nutrition private practice providing clinical nutrition services, educational programs, and wellness resources. All client services are delivered through Practice Better, a HIPAA-compliant practice management platform. We are not a covered entity under HIPAA as defined by the Department of Health and Human Services; however, we take the privacy of your health-related information seriously and apply best practices consistent with HIPAA principles across all services.

2. Information We Collect

We collect personal information only when you voluntarily provide it through interactions with our website or services. The categories of information we may collect include:

Identifying Information: First and last name, email address, phone number, and billing address provided when registering for services or making a purchase.

Payment Information: Payment is processed through Practice Better, which utilizes Stripe as its payment processor. Wishbone Wellness does not store your full credit card number or payment credentials. Payment data is handled directly by Stripe in accordance with PCI-DSS standards.

Communications: Emails, messages, and session notes exchanged through Practice Better's secure messaging system.

Technical Information: IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, referring URLs, and pages visited on this website. This information is collected automatically through standard web server logs and analytics tools.

3. How We Use Your Information

Email Marketing Platform: FEA Create used to send newsletters and educational content to subscribers who have opted in. You may unsubscribe at any time.

Website Analytics: Squarespace analytics used to understand how visitors interact with this website. This tool collects anonymized usage data.

All third-party service providers are contractually required to maintain the confidentiality of your information and are prohibited from using it for any purpose other than providing services to Wishbone Wellness.

Wishbone Wellness does not sell, rent, or lease your personal information to any third party.
